This Christmas season, Olivet Assembly USA (OA) hosted retreats and worship services nationwide from December 23rd to 25th, uniting believers in a meaningful celebration of Jesus Christ’s birth. Centered on the theme of John 3:16, these gatherings invited participants to reflect on God’s love, revealed through His Son, and the transformative power of Christ’s coming into the world.
Retreats were held across the Northeast, Washington D.C., Southeast, Central & Midwest region, Mountain, Northwest and Pacific coast. Churches hosted various activities, including worship services, Bible studies, communal meals, performances, and special events designed to deepen understanding of the Gospel and celebrate the joy of Christ’s birth.
Highlights included the Immanuel Presbyterian Church retreat in Dover, NY, where Pastor Peter Jung explored the law, the Gospel, and Christ’s arrival, encouraging participants to meditate on God’s redemptive love. In Washington D.C., a two-day retreat featured worship, Bible studies, and creative programs fostering spiritual renewal and unity. At STL Immanuel Church, Pastor Anthony concluded the Central & Midwest retreat with a sermon on Philippians 2:6-11, emphasizing the redemption offered through Jesus, the perfect Son of God.
A special Christmas service was also held at the OAUSA Chapel in St. Louis, Missouri, where Pastor Mark Spisak shared a message from Revelation 3:7-8, followed by a time of prayer for OAUSA’s mission and the evangelization of North America.
Participants left these gatherings spiritually renewed and inspired, reflecting on the significance of Christ’s birth and preparing for the new year with strengthened faith and purpose. The retreats served as a powerful reminder of God’s love and a call to live in dedication to His Kingdom and righteousness.
